Re: A Few Old Skool Tunes
I like Hot Rod Lincoln
Most of it's too old school for me. Teenage years it had to be Sammy Hagar, Billy Squire, ACDC, 'Priest, CCR or a few more. My all time favorite band was 'Skynyrd.
Late at night when I was coming down off a wild night I unwinded with slower songs like this.

You're not vintage enough to have heard the good old stuff on AM radoi & Honkie Tonk Juke Boxes.
AC/DC, CCR, Squire, Priest, lynyrd skynyrd all did some good stuff. Not a fan of Haggar. Some Haggard maybe.
You missed the whole rock n roll revolution with Elvis, The Beatles, Stones, Joplin, Hendrix, Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Everly Bros, Herman's Hermits, The Monkees, Cocker, Jefferson Airplane, The Ed Sullivan Show..............
The Grateful Dead
Dylan

Re: A Few Old Skool Tunes
Elvis was over rated and full of himself. He did a lot for rock and roll but if it wouldn't have been him it would have been someone else soon enough. The world was ready to break free from all the stiffs out there. I like Jerry Lee Lewis stuff.
I like a few of the songs the Stones did. I really like Janice Joplin and best left handed guitar player in the world Jimmy Hendrix. Some of Roy Orbison's later stuff.
Tom Petty's stuff and my girl friend Joan Jett. Man I was in love with her.
She's looking a little rough now a days but man o man was she a babe back then!
