Woman Killed With Children Inside Apartment


DAYTON, Ky. -- Police officers in Dayton, Ky. were investigating a homicide early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Clay Street at about 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found a woman dead inside an apartment. Officers said the woman was stabbed several times. Her name was yet not released.

Officers told News 5's John London that the woman's two children, a 5-year-old girl and a 2-month-old boy, were also inside the apartment. The children were not hurt in the incident.

Investigators named the woman's boyfriend as a suspect in her death. That man turned himself in to police a couple hours later.
