1971 Mach 1 351C, Auto, PS, PB, Tilt, Discs, Fold down seat
here is what I found in Hamilton, tucked away since 1986....A Butler County Sherriff told be where it was..it was his sisters car...
came with any patch panels that it needs, and after stripping the 73 Parts car, I have a BUNCH of extra parts....
He bought FORD Quater panels and fenders in 1992, they didn't come with the car
I hope to have the motor I bought, re gasketed, and the used Edelbrock I got on it, installed by Sunday Night and running...I have all the right goodies for this car...working Ram Air, Tilt Wheel, Lay down seat, Posi Rear, Front and rear spoliers...should be a nice little car...my body man is waiting on me to bring it over, he is going to fix my rust, and Epoxy prime it for me, and line it all up....
Parts Cars...
now looks like this...
Also had this one for parts....

Re: 1971 Mach 1 351C, Auto, PS, PB, Tilt, Discs, Fold down seat
Spent Sunday installing the left head on the 351, found a tap broken in an exhaust bolt hole, had a buddy at the Machine shop drill it out and Heli-coil it...then put it all together, changed the oil, made a 351 priming tool, had 90lBS oil pressure with a drill, I need a GOOOD Strong 1/2" drill....so I finished the install with the used Edelbrock intake, and the new Valve Covers I got off evil-bay, 50 cheaper than Jegs....also installed the Holley Dual line carb, next new water pump, fuel pump, run the fuel lines, hook hoses, installed the new radiator that came with car, hope to have it running over Christmas break....we'll see...

I never realized this before, but the rear quarter and roof line looks similar to the AMC Javelin. Good job getting it road worthy!

@ Arieldouglas, rofl..me either!
@ Admin, I drove my Dad's several times and I didn't trust myself driving it. The rear end would always slide out on me when I got on it. I owned a Silver w/racing stripes '69 AMX with a 390 V8 when my Dad owned an Orange '69 Javelin with a 6 banger in it. But he ended up putting a 343 V8 in it. Basically the same body, but definitely both cars had a lot of power when you got on it. I loved both of those cars..
