Amy's Grandpa

How is he doing?

He's doing good. They had to put a tube down his windpipe for him to breath because of the swelling but everything is looking good.

That's great!! Glad to hear it.

These last 2 days have not been good. He pulled out his feeding tube. And is talking nonsense. He's not himself at all. Grandpa has a nurse with him 24hrs a day. Prayers are always needed. Today is Grandma's birthday. She went to visit with him for awhile. She is not doing well mentally at all. They have been together everyday for the past 45 years. It's been hard on both of them. Prayers haven't stopped. I will share this with my staff tomorrow.

Grandpa is not having any good days. He's cheerful for company but he's not healing or getting better. Grandpa has pneumonia, breathing treatments, and feeding tube going back in. He won't eat because he get hiccups and gets sick. He can't swallow water. Say some prayers!!

Thanks for all the prayers and kind thoughts!! They are very much appriciated11 Great news: Grandpa is coming home on Monday!!! He got to go home for a little while today and eat lunch with Grandma. That made both their days.. He's been in rehab for a little over a week. God is a great God he knows just what to do and when to do it. He's given Grandma enough time to adjust to everything. And now she is pretty much prepared for all the new things she needs to do for Grandpa. Again thank you for all the prayers and kind words!!!! Amy
