Ford 390 & auto. trans free GONE please delete

Ford 390 was told it was a 66 FE when we bought the car. Not sure if it is or not. It was in my wifes 56 T-bird (yes 56), started smoking so we pulled it to put in the 312. Ran good other than the smoking. I just put a set of rebuilt rocker shafts on it not 50 miles ago. Has the hard to find rear sump pan. ( I know they are hard to find, because I had to find one) Will not ship, pick up only. Have to get it gone. Free, read last post.

Free if you can pick it up today 7/14, and give me your word you will use it, and not scrap it. And please be a man of your word. Tomorrow morning it will be outa here, have a guy who restores cars that said he will take it, but would rather see one of you end up with it.

It's sitting in a barn, in a line of about 30 ro 40 other engines. The old guy restores ford for fun, hated to drop it there, but just couldn't bring myself to scrap it. I'm out of room to store stuff at the shop, and in the 3 or 4 days it sat here, the city inspector came twice. The second time he said move it by tomorrow or get a ticket. I really need to get out of this town.

That stuff fires me up. It's hard to keep from holding on to stuff but when someone else comes into a place you rent or own and tells you what you can have in it just ticks me off. I went through that with a garage I had about 12 or 13 years ago. One of the city zoning people, a chick stopped by and was a real smart (BEEP). She pushed my buttons when she started running her mouth so I wouldn't let her in. She acted like I had just smacked her one because I wouldn't let her enter the garage. She says you have to let me in there! I told her I diodn't have to let her do any such thing. Go get a court order. About 20 minutes later Donnie and myself are standing out front and hear the sirens from a fire truck. I thought they was going to a fire. Guess where they stopped? Right in front of mine and Donnie's garage. She was behind them. Getting out of her truck she had this big grin on her face. After talking to the Chief and sending him away her face become puzzled and then to an angry state as the fire truck was getting ready to head out. Keep in mind this was a personal garage and not for hire. She said we were running a company, which we wasn't.
All this could have been taken care of if she would have not been a snob and thinking she was just going to come down there like she's God. If she would have been nice I would have let her in and she could have seen with her own eyes that the cars were our and not someone elses. She didn't last long in Newport. Not sure if she just left or was canned but she gone!

I am suprised the city is not on me.

The city I live wants to creat an ordance group. Supposed to be for unattended buildings/house. Such things as the grass grown up and abandon late model autos.

I have a neighbor who just loves to call the city for anything.
