Cool shifter knobs????
I need some ideas of cool shifter knobs for my truck. Something other than the typical pool ball knob.

Homelight chain saw pistons are cool. I used to have a bunch of them. I may still have one or two if I can find them. I remember cutting my palm once when I banged a gear from were the ring was still on it. You have to epoxi a nut on the bottom though.

Stan I was checking that out down in Richmond. I really like that one...Vickers was going nuts over the color of the car too.

I agree and I have seen some of the prices that these guys are asking for some of these. I was wanting to do something a bit creative, kinda like something around the garage that you wouldn't typically think of as a knob. Any ideas?

Put a T-Handle on the thing if you don't like the ball but remember that if you use someting metal (like a T-Handle), it'll get really cold in the winter. If you have a Hurst with a white ball, don't pitch it. I tried to get a white Hurst ball for my four speed to replace to one I gave away as a kid and they wanted a fortune for one. Be original..............use the ball that came with it! My $.02

Yeah I've got a pineaple gernade myself. Picked it up a gun show a while back, but never turned it into a shift knob yet. I've also got some 50 cal dummy rounds.

I was thinking something like an old dummy shell of a good size but I don't know enough about these to know what size would be best and what kind of money they're worth.
