What do you mean Blades convinced you!! I told you over a month ago that the first thing you need to do is have the block checked to see how much you needed to bore to clean up and true the cylinders. You know, like before you started buying piston sets. Hell, that block might be cracked for all you know. Kentucky Motors can take care of it. Of course they send out their work. Where to, I don't know anymore. I had a 429 block fully reworked by them and it was done A1. Price was right to but that was years ago. I'd skip the .040 over if it was me. Just go to the next size up as too what the cylinders need to be trued. That just might be .040 in your engines case! But, that's just my opinion. You can tell me I was right and you should have listened to me next year. LOL

A guy named Dan that used to do all of my machine work at Dons Crank runs a shop up in Dillsboro In. He is good and has good prices. He does it all including turning or polishing cranks and balancing, most machine shops around send the parts out of house for that. Im need to drop off some 427 parts to him,so you can run up there with me when i go if you want......
