Got a Phone call tonight, Mike Acree of the Fastiques, better known as the Voice of the Pumpkin Run, not the DJ, but the Fastiques information man, after her left Milford, had a Heart Attack and passed away, he just got out of the hospital, and had is wife Rose drive his Thunderbolt Clone to Milford, hung out, went home and died! He knew somthing was up, and he will be dearly missed, he was a good guy and alway treated me great, he was a brother of the degree, and a 32 degree Master Mason, Gods Speed Mike... 😢

That stinks. My prayers go out to his family. Did he live over on this side of the river? I had breakfast a few months back with him I think. Some of the older hot rodders have breakfast over here once a month and I stopped in one day. If it's the same guy we were talking about you that morning John.

Mike was a Ford Union guy, worked at for 35+ years, I know Dennis knows him, he was now in a wheel chair, had his legs cut off due to diabetes, had a SWEEEEET 1964 Thunderbolt, built to the gills...He was grumpy as shit from time to time, but how could blame him, but we all have flaws, just one of the good ones!

Oh okay. It wasn't the same guy then. He was in the fastiques(spelling) but he was not in a chair. It's a shame. The older we get the more our friends drop off this way.
