Overdrive trans

Still in a 2wd 92 s10 blazer. A guy lived in my dad's farm house turned in the drive this past summer wide open and hit a tree dead on in the left frame rail. Engine still ran. I crwaled underneath it and couldn't find anything wrond. Column shift. It was a very nice car. I think it had been 134-136k miles on it. $125. You can see it in the background.

700 or 200 R ?

A 92 would be a 4L60. Basically a 700R4 with a electric speedometer output I believe.

I looked at some s10 links showing V8 motor swaps. Seems like you can buy something so that you can use an aftermarket guage. I'll have to read more. I probably outting the engine in my mom's monte carlo this summer.

Pulled the trans this weekend. Sold the trans and had the guy called back and said it was different from his and is going to bring it back. $100 for the trans.

Are you going toi make a trip north any time soon?

Probably the closest I will come is Louisville. When I got to Kansas and nebraska where my uncle lives, I go through evansville, IN. LRS 30 was wanting the rear axle. I don't know if he still does. I might be able to make it up that way. I will try to take some pics.

LRS30 do you want to split the gas money and go get them?
