Rules, info and application

Please read the following before submitting a request to join the Scroungers Car Club:

The Scroungers Car Club was formed by a group of friends that want to keep the spirit of hot rodding alive in their local communities. It consists of, not limited to but mostly traditional type cars & trucks. Potential members are invited into the club as prospects and the officer’s approval of their application. Prospects may attend all club meetings and events but may not vote on any changes or amendments to the club rules. After 90 days a prospect may be voted into the club, as a full-fledged member, or voted out of the club by the members.
Prospects may not purchase or be issued a dragger plate or decals, other than support merchandice until they become full-fledged members. Prospects are on a probation period while this is going on. If you step out of bounds in any way you will be booted without a second chance. Any actions that are not cool like wearing your Scroungers CC shirt, decals or acts with your car with Scroungers CC merchandice on it while doing something illegal such as drinking and driving or just plain causing trouble will be grounds to pull all Scroungers merchandice from you and ban you from the club or any activities we do.

Just a note: This is not an internet car club. You can't just join the forum and join the club. Our club is very active. You must be willing to get out and have fun. Sitting on a computer is not what we are about. We can set up a meeting at a burger joint or garage to talk to you about what is expected while in the club, if it is winter time and no shows are going on to meet you at.
