the parts you see in the pic is the worse part. the rest of the truck is in pretty good shape for it's age. the roof, doors, bed and glass is pretty nice. it also has a really cool dash6-71Kid wrote:I say the secound one looks better.

Re: canidates for 1/4 mile car
OK here is the deal! I just talked to the owner of the 58 ( fucking flake!) sorry for the language. The guy that gave me the info on the truck is an ATF agent, He said that Dennis MAllory (the owner) wanted $200 for the truck. I just finished a phone call with the owner the price started out at $1200, then 3 minutes in he said he told my buddy (ATF GUY) $750, then he tells me that he would give it away before he would sell it for $200....So as it stands he said $750 and I can come look at it tommorow afternoon. From the fence line where I can see it now I do not think its worth $750 what do you think Steve...I would say at most $400/$500 inless the Frame is not rotted and such but still I think its a sub $500 dollar car...I feel like a real jackass here guy's sorry but I was going on what my buddy was telling me.......SORRY for getting the hopes up...If anybody wants to go look at it with me tommorow let me know, or is it a waste of time?????I personally think we should keep looking if this is a wash..I would love to see a pre-64 car/truck/wagon with the club name on it than a later model, no offense to anyone just a opinion(yes everyone has one and they all stink, lol).
Re: canidates for 1/4 mile car
no big deal about the 58. that kind of stuff happens when you deal with people. bad thing is it will sit there until he gets tired of it and some goof will tow it away for scrap. I liked the idea of the Luv but after I look at the 58 I have to agree that we need something older than the Luv. we have a few months to get something. it will fall into our lap when we least expect it to.

I saw that Sprite down at Beech Bend. It would barely run.

Hello I have 55 Pntiac 2dr. everythging is there. It does have a clear Ohio title. motor and tranny is in it. I got it to fire a little. But lost interest need to sell. Has a bad right front lower arm.Owens automtove in Texas told 65 shipped for a a-arm. no front seat, floor has surface rust. doors open and shut solidly. I'm in Toledo,OH just pretty close to I-75. also have a 50 F-1 truck with spare cab for $600 for both. Can get pics if your interested.
