Dragsters and airplane engines. Anyone??
Cincy Ohio Gearheads. I received a PM asking me about a guy in Western Cincy that has dragsters that owns an old airplane engine. The engine is a V-12 water cooled Ranger. The gentleman wanting the info is 91 years old and raced airplanes and had a helicopter school. He is simply wanting some info on the engine and the story about how he got it and such. They have a get together once a month over at the museum at Lunken for Aviation Heritage Society. Anyone know this guy or any info on how to get a hold of him?

It was only like 15 minutes of posting it on Facebook and a guy chimed in and said what his name was and said to pm him for the guys numbers. Pretty cool.

Somebody from somewhere always knows something or someone else from someplace else... sometimes!
