New Chevy's lost and found?

I was reading about this and wondered if anyone knows anything about it. Is it true? Story goes that a driver had a trailer full of 56 Chevy's heading to a dealership an started having truck problems. He made it off the road and on to this guys property and called for help. No one showed up so the driver got upset and took off hitch hiking. He never came back and no one from the dealership ever claimed the cars or the truck. Someone took a shot of them and they made a poster out of it.

I'm sure they'd set that long w/o someone taking them. Just after I graduated High School there was a train car full of Corvettes that sat overnite on a spur. When the car was picked up in the morning the only on ones with transmissions were the ones on the bottom row. The kids over in Muncie, IN weren't the only ones with 4 speeds.

If it's on some old farmers property out of site I could see it. Some of those old timers were funny. Let it sit but not get rid of it because it wasn't his. Never know.

i dont know if it's real, but DANG!!!! i want the whole truck trailer and all the cars. just the story is AWESOME!!!!!! thanks for sharing it with us. i think i want to build a model car diorama like this. call it "the 56's that never made it"....
