He'll sue the battery maker for not having instructions that say. "remove before connecting wire" And knowing the way the world is anymore, he'll win.

Isn't that the new quick disconnect?  All you have to do is pull up on the little black tab that was supplied by the manufacturer.  Looks to be a pretty handy item. I've heard it also helps fight the dreaded corrosion.

Owner didn't take the plastic cap off,.... and you think he bought the correct battery too  lol! lol!

Wouldn't have mattered if it was a ford, even without the cap it wouldn't have started. That's why most ford have low mileage, the odometer doesn't move when a car is being pushed.
