Isn't that the new quick disconnect? All you have to do is pull up on the little black tab that was supplied by the manufacturer. Looks to be a pretty handy item. I've heard it also helps fight the dreaded corrosion.

Probably a GM owner and one of those who need Onstar to give them directions to where they are going and unlock the doors because they locked the keys in.

Wouldn't have mattered if it was a ford, even without the cap it wouldn't have started. That's why most ford have low mileage, the odometer doesn't move when a car is being pushed.
