Went out to KilKare last Saturday for the old time Drags.  The place was nuts. They had more cars and people than they knew what to do with.  The racing was really good.  I went to spend some time with the neighbor since he was racing.  He went 4 rounds deep before he broke out.  Pretty good for somebody that only runs about once a year.Gathering of the Geezers @ KilKare Img_4511

This was by far the most fun I've had all summer.  There were a bunch of show cars there.  I know that because I had to walk thru them to get to my neighbor's Camaro. 

Maybe some more later.  Gotta go.

That sure looks like it because it still is his.  I don't quite know how he ran Super Stock under current NHRA rules but it was cool to see that thing run.

Doug, if you get 2 dui convictions within 6 years in Ohio, you get yellow plates for your car. These are a restricted driving plate, your allowed to drive to and from work, and during day light hours only.

Good thing Dean was racing in the daylight then. Maybe that's why he got beat before the sun started to set.
