Looks like I'm pulling the engine. Now to decide what to do. Do I rebuild what I have or do I go another route. Any suggestion? Throw them out here and give me some ideas.

I hate to say it but now a days I want MPG's. You have to go one way or the other. Build a killer engine that sounds great. Everyone would hear you coming with that big cam or would it be better to have a stock or slightly modified engine that is good on gas? I am lucky enough to have both. I can run around it the truck with the 305 or burn gas in the Fire Chicken with a 30 over 454 with 2X4's. Guess what I drive more? The truck. I can't afford to drive the Bird. Thing is too you can put your extra money into the car, mags, paint, stripes or whatever. You won't be shoving all that extra money in the gas tank. It a shame it has came to this. We could at one time had the best of both worlds. When I first started driving gas was under a buck. What is funny is I freaked when it went over $1.00
