Prayers for a dear loved one

My Uncle Glenn is in his end of life status at hospice in edgewood. He is slowly declining but still hanging on. I was hoping that he would make it till spring so we could go sit on the river bank one last time. He used to work down at Hennards in newport, before that he was partial owner of riggs auto service at seventh an brighton in newport also. Hes been battle cancer for a year now. Its finially taken its toll. I visited him yesterday and hes starting to turn yellow. He slept the hole time I was there. He was one heck of a mechanic and one hell of a good fishing buddy .

Send a little prayer for the family and his daughters who are doing everything they can to keep it together and do as much as they can financially have his funeral the way he wanted it.

Sorry to hear this Riggs. I believe that cancer had been part of everyones family on here in one way or another. Great strides have been made in the last 20 years to slow it down but it just doesn't seem like enough. It takes a lot of good people. Prayers sent up buddy. If you need anything just let me know.

I'll be praying for your whole family Riggs. We all have to face it but it's never good.

thanks for the prayers guys. i spent quite a few hrs with him over the weekend. his daughters lost their mother over 15 years ago. and both of them are under 35. he didnt have any life insurance but a family members mother and father in law is going to cover the funeral. there is still good people out there after all.

he is still hanging on.

he'll be laid to rest tomorrow at 12-2 at serentity in covington... its been a long couple days , this man was more then just an uncle, and a fishing buddy, when i was little and the parents wanted to party and be male w**res i was dumped off on uncle glenn and without any hesitation he took me everytime. i kid with his daughters that they are my sisters. which its a strange story they are double related. hey we are in ky by the way....
