Extra HP or not, it would be cool. Not something everybody has.

Great! Hope you will put this setup on the Rancher. Since installation is going to require head removal for some machine work why not grab another head and build it for installation at a later date. Here's a link to some information on choosing the best head for your application.

OLD ONE OUT.....gotta switch out clutch and stuff.....then back in tomorrow!!!
Re: 1962 Ranchero Parts Chaser 200 CID T5 5 speed
I think he's right. You need to get that carb from Lamar. It will work better and it's older.

Re: 1962 Ranchero Parts Chaser 200 CID T5 5 speed
Transmission in AGAIN......hope to have it fired up and going over the weekend....Took Robert and I less than one minute to install it....I feel like a NASCAR pit crew member....Jack Roush pit crew that is....
Re: 1962 Ranchero Parts Chaser 200 CID T5 5 speed
Trans all bolted down, crossmember installed, have to install speedo cable, and e-brake pivot, and exhaust pipe, and that will wrap up underneath truck, then start hooking up all the other junk....
Re: 1962 Ranchero Parts Chaser 200 CID T5 5 speed
Spent some cash at Speedway, Fuel block, 3 air cleaners, and red Fuel line....also installed the Pertronix electronic pick up, and a Flamethrower coil.....getting there, been working a bunch lately, sales up 35% so things getting better....
Re: 1962 Ranchero Parts Chaser 200 CID T5 5 speed
That is one sweet little project. Many would have V8ed that car but its much more unique this way. 3-1's on an integral intake! I wonder how it'll be on a nice long cruise?
